Events : A two-day training-cum-workshop on ‘Strengthening Gender Perspective on Agricultural Research and Extension’ was organized on 4-5 September 2009 under Visioning, Policy Analysis and Gender (V_PAGe) subproject of NAIP at the Directorate of Research on Women in Agriculture, Bhubaneswar. The programme had the following objectives:

• Orient KVK professionals on gender concepts and importance of gender in agriculture
• Provide exposure to the participants on gender analysis and planning  methodologies
• Help participants strengthen gender perspective in KVK related activities

Twenty four participants from different KVKs under OUAT, Bhubaneswar attended the programme.
